Excellence in Design for Greater Efficiencies (EDGE) certificate or green building certification is a resource-efficient building assessment system that enables developers and builders to quickly identify the most cost-effective ways to reduce energy use, water use, and embodied energy in materials, thereby reducing greenhouse gas emissions.

The EDGE certification system is a typical demonstration of the economic efficiency of resource-efficient buildings, when the financial and environmental factors can go hand in hand,” said Wendy Werner, Director of the World Bank Group’s East Asia Pacific Regional Trade.

To achieve EDGE certification, buildings are required to ensure at least 20% reduction in energy use, water use, and energy consumption contained in the materials, i.e. the energy used throughout the life cycle of the material from production to destruction compared with normal buildings.

Cardinal Court is the first project of Phu My Hung to honorably obtain EDGE green building certification. All construction materials, sanitary equipment, electricity & water system at the project are carefully selected based on high standards and eco-friendliness criteria:

Another plus point for this project is the application of Access Control technology. Elevator system only operates when guest(s) arrive & have the entrance allow of the owner, enhancing the security for residents.
