Phu My Hung to Host Spring Flower Festival Next Month
A spring flower festival to celebrate the Lunar New Year (Tet) will be held in Phu My Hung town in HCMC’s District 7 from February 11 to 17.
Mua gat (harvest season) festival will recreate the harvest time when fields of ripe paddy turn brightly yellow. The yellow color will dominate the entire site of the festival by the Crescent Lake, implying a wish of prosperity for all people.
There will be a spring-themed garden featuring a variety of flowers and fruits, a food area that offers Vietnamese Tet specialities, and music performances to welcome Tet.
Admission to the festival is free.
