Several developers hand over apartments to buyers
Several property developers are handing over apartments to buyers on time although the local property market has experienced difficulties over the past two years and many developers find it hard to pool capital sources for their project development.
Phu My Hung Corporation (PMH) has wrapped up the first construction phase of a condo project named Riverside Residence in the new urban town Phu My Hung in HCMC’s District 7 and has just started handing over some 160 apartments in the condo project to buyers. The project got off ground over a year ago.
PMH says it has set aside some US$200 million to turn a 45,000-square meter site on Nguyen Luong Bang Street in the new urban town into five blocks of 17-29 storey buildings with 622 apartments and some 50 stores.
Besides other serviced facilities such as tennis court and swimming pool, the cluster of condo buildings is designed with a commercial plaza center covering some 4,700 square meters on the ground floor of three buildings.
The corporation plans to make the second hand-over phase in the coming weeks, handing to buyers some 160 apartments.
Meanwhile, in another housing project, SetiaBecamex JSC is pressing ahead with a plan to hand over some 250 units of row houses in the EcoLakes My Phuoc project in the southern province of Binh Duong.
The Malaysian developer says it will start turning keys of those apartments to buyers on December 18, two months ahead of the project construction’s schedule.
This is part of the first phase of the 226-hectare project which is designed with some 10,000 housing units, including row houses, villas and commercial centers.
In another condo development, Van Phat Hung Corporation has put on a second sales program after it gauged the market demand with some 100 apartments in the first phase launched in late September this year.
The corporation says it will continue offering some 162 apartments of the La Casa project with the average price at VND20 million per square meter.
The housing project is developed on some six hectares at Phu Thuan Ward in HCMC’s District 7. It is designed with 10 blocks of 25-35-storey buildings with some 1,950 apartments. Besides it includes sections for hotel, office, serviced apartments, commercial center and other serviced facilities.
