PMH to host festival for families
Phu My Hung Corporation has teamed up with some organizations to organize the festival of Vietnam Family Day, which will take place at a newly finished complex project namely The Crescent in HCMC’s District 7 this weekend.
The organizer says the fifth festival for families will attract some 10,000 people who are the city dwellers and residents of the urban town Phu My Hung. It is expected to see some 1,000 business families to join the festival this year.
Some 30 festive activities are designed for the event, in which there is a section for kids with activities such as magic and circus performances, drawing, singing and other traditional games.
Young families will have a chance to get consultancies from experienced doctors and experts in caring health and happiness in their families at the event, which will run from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Four years since its inception in 2006, the festival for families has become a traditional activity for the corporation and the Vietnam Youth Union in HCMC, making it a playground for not only local families but also foreigner ones to highlight the important role of families in the society.
