“Embrace Diversity” Art Exhibition – Appreciating differences and spreading the love
From now until July 20, 2025, the ground floor of Crescent Mall in Phu My Hung, Ho Chi Minh City, will host the “Embrace Diversity” art exhibition. The highlight of the event is a collection of artworks created by children with disabilities – paintings that are pure, delicate, and offer a unique perspective on the world.
More than just an exhibition showcasing the artistic talents of these young creators, “Embrace Diversity” invites the public to engage in interactive experiences designed to deepen understanding of different types of disabilities.
We are different.
We have our own stories, experiences, and perspectives.
We listen from our ears, our eyes and even our hearts.
We live among those who perceive the world differently. They are not unusual, but rather very ‘special’ and beautiful.
“Embrace the Diversity” was created with the aim of spreading the message of appreciating differences and spreading love.
Inspired by the way children with special needs perceive the world in their own distinct ways, “Embrace Diversity” celebrates the diversity of thought, senses, and imagination. These differences weave a vibrant tapestry – one in which love is the thread that connects us all. Each piece of art tells a story, inviting viewers on an emotional journey where beauty arises not only from artistic expression but also from understanding and empathy for the extraordinary.
“Embrace Diversity” is an annual initiative organized by Lawrence S. Ting Foundation, with this year’s edition featuring the collaboration of visual artist Ngô Đình Bảo Châu and 12 special education schools and centers from across the country. The exhibition is also supported by a range of partners, including Crescent Mall, TJ Communications, My Corner Art Studio, YBOX, Advertising Vietnam, and Nhịp Cầu Đầu Tư.
